CAD Data Translation & Editing

At Torindo, we have developed an original translation support tool compatible with the translation software Trados that allows us to directly import CAD data.

This enables us to provide a one-stop translation editing service for CAD drawings and other AutoCAD format data. Using this translation support tool also gives us the advantage of being able to keep translated terms and expressions consistent.

In the past, clients had to prepare the target text for translation by themselves when they wanted to request for translation by a translation company. However, we are able to start on translation right away using just the drawing data sent by clients.

Translations are carried out by Torindo’s professional translators with specialist knowledge.

Extraction and import of translated text are carried out semi-automatically, allowing us to efficiently work on large amounts of drawing data.

1. When clients move their production bases overseas and need to provide drawings in the local language 
2. When exported products are installed overseas and local staff need to be able to understand the drawings

The larger the amount of drawing data, the larger the cost-reduction and time-reduction effect.
We are also able to handle hand-drawn and scanned drawings by collaborating with our group companies to convert these drawings to data.
