We ask our clients for information regarding the field, volume, and languages involved in their project. If necessary, a project manager directly meets with the client to go over the details of the project.
The files to be translated will be analyzed to determine the exact number of characters (or words), the amount of repeated text, and the amount of translated text that can be used from previous translations. Then, a project team will be formed in accordance with the volume, number of languages, and date of delivery.
We ask the client to provide us with materials to refer to during translation, such as past translation data, style guides, and glossaries.
A translator, who is a native speaker of the target language, will carry out the translation.
Selection of a native-speaker translator
Although a translator may be a native speaker of the target language, if they do not have the required expert knowledge, they will not be able to choose the appropriate expressions for producing a quality translation. When performing multilingualization of manuals or catalogs, the translated text is imported into DTP software and the layout is then adjusted. Any necessary editing is carried out, such as configuring format settings appropriate for the target language and adding any supplementary descriptions required for the target country.
We carry out a final inspection before delivering the finalized document to the client.
Any feedback received from our clients after delivery is managed by project, and is referred to when handling future translations.
